Howard Indienne is part of the new Castle Howard Indienne Collection that brings back to life the archive assembled by Rosalind, 9th Countess in the last decades of the 19th Century.

A beautiful border fabric that that envelopes a twisting branch of stylised bountiful buds, blooms, fruit and leaves within an elegant indienne frame. The border elevates drapery projects using our Victoria Howard Indienne fabric. Remi Renzullo included the border in both window and bed drapery in the Admiral's Bedroom at Castle Howard. The soaring eighteenth century Polonaise bed truly is a centre piece, the curtain topped with an elaborate crown centre connected to the four corner poles of the bed frame. A spectacle that honours timeless style and grand interiors.
