Cymbeline

c.1750. Inspired by a mid-eighteenth century Italianate brocade, this silk weave was reproduced recently using modern methods to give the fabric a craquelure effect. Natural silk is woven with nylon backing, causing it to pucker and puff with extraordinary effect.
