Shrewsbury Holmdale

c.1845. A complex and bold pattern, this Augustus Pugin design was commissioned by his prominent patron the Earl of Shrewsbury for Ingestre Hall. Stylised outstretching daffodils are encircled by ogee arches in this warm and elegant geometric floral.
