Maybeck

Rossetti’s famous opium poppies burgeon, dream-like, across Maybeck’s decorative surface. Their barbed leaves are transformed into the limestone tracery of a trefoil headed Gothic window, spiking the sweetness of the flowers. This late-nineteenth century Arts and Crafts wool is wonderful on upholstery and remains as enchanting as ever.
