Marmaduke Silk
c.1880 The original of this elegant design was discovered at Stokesay Court, the magnificent late-Victorian mansion in which Atonement was filmed, as a woolen drapery. A large-scale paisley in pastel colours, it has a complex design that cascades over the fabric like lace fountains. The design flourishes woven in pure silk in blushed cream, terracotta pink and teal blue.
