Malvern Piccadilly

Malvern Piccadilly

c.1889. Originally a fifteenth century Flemish textile pattern, this dramatic design was redrawn by pioneering architect and Watts co-founder G. F. Bodley in 1889.  A very large, starkly contrasting floral design, stylised thistle flowers lace magnificently upwards in gold, silver and royal red silk.
