Gothic Drawing Room
Steeped in the romance of Gothic revival, the Drawing Room at Eastnor Castle stands almost exactly as it did when the Crace brothers, working to the visionary designs of A.W.N. Pugin, transformed it in 1849. At its heart hang magnificent seventeenth-century Brussels tapestries, pieces that once adorned Wimpole Hall, which later became a cherished wedding gift to Lady Caroline Yorke, wife of the second Earl Somers.
